Akritech Private Limited (Agricultural Technology Corporation) for the Malaysian state of Johor, Johor Bahru namely the vicinity of one of the largest leech farm and wholesale supply of all the year round, as well as excellent leech Hirudo seedlings. Malaysia Leeches start from one breeding farm by Mr Jason Ang and Mr Chai develop until today’s large scale leech farming from the creation of the two entrepreneur. The company set research and development, engineering design, breeding leeches, leech acquisition, leech seedling bulk sale, trade, distribution, export overseas, import leech into the high-tech agricultural technology enterprise.

The basic concepts of Leech reproduction of the initial R & D was brought over from Singapore and Malaysia’s special studies of water filtration systems Memfil Technology Sdn Bhd. (founded in 2004) and Purefil Pte Ltd. MEMFIL has accumulated a 6-year clean water filtration and sewage treatment experience, through many years of professional experience greatly enhanced Akritech Pte Ltd’s expertise to breed quality leech species.

Leech Breeding Farm
Akritech Pte Ltd. is currently one of the large private leech breeding farm located in Negeri Sembilan, Bahau (Malaysia), by Mr K T Ang (Malaysia Technology University degree) manages. Since June 2008 the farm has been successful in breeding out of 4 generation of the Quality hirudo seedlings and resold them to local buyers throughout Malaysia, especially in South Johor area for many. In addition to the leech farm exports also contracted to overseas pharmaceutical usages of hirudo to make medical drug production. Mr. K T Ang recent cooperation with the business once again invest in the development of new breeding leeches Technology Farm, and is expected to be completed at the end of this year.

Leech Breeding Research
We also have a specialized R & D team, specializing in leech breeding, farm infrastructure, ecological and environment, water treatment (water temperature ph value), bacteria and virus research, leech food booster, leech diseases, leech species and so on. The team’s leader, Mr Chai is graduates from UTM Technology University Malaysia. In the same time, he successfully expand the company’s business coverage to add industrial production of leeches. The project involves research and development of a machine be able to put a living leech medicinal powder made from dried leeches and exported to other countries. The production plant will be fully implemented by the end of year 2009.

Trade and Sales of Leeches
Our Managing Director Mr Jason Ang skilled in marketing international trade, export import, retail distribution and trade transactions. As Managing Director of Memfil and Purefil Technology, he has more than 12 years of experience in international trade and a variety of marketing experiences. Mr Jason Ang was also honored from the Spirit of Enterpreneurship Award of Singapore in 2006 to scale new heights. At present, Mr. Jason Ang and several large pharmaceutical manufacturers overseas under negotiation with several large-scale cooperative programs to further promote and put the leeches business to all over the world.
